Equipped to Teach
The University of Baguio Science High School is well equipped to provide the most immersive and conducive learning experience to our hundreds of scholars who call UB Science High as their educational home for four years.
Chemistry and Physics Laboratory
The Science High School probably has the best-equipped in-house Chemistry Laboratory of any private and public high school in Baguio and the Cordillera region. Our two-room laboratory can seat 60 students in a comfortable environment for conducting experiments and research projects.
Our chemistry laboratory is certified to college standards, with regularly replenished basic chemicals for experiments and mechanical apparatuses for a myriad of required procedures that our students may require.
Physics is not neglected with our ever-growing collection of Physics equipment for the experiments conducted from basic Science subjects to advanced researches by our Senior Scholars.
Library
The University of Baguio has a General Main Library located on the 4th floor of the FB Building, shared by all the Academic Departments within the campus. With a floor area of 1,566 square meters and seating capacity for 500 students, the Main Library houses a decent collection of General Information, Periodicals, Filipiniana, Reference, and Medical volumes.
The smaller Extension Library located on the 3rd floor of the Commerce Building, houses the Law, Criminology, Commerce, Fiction, High School, and Relegation sections.
The Libraries are also equipped with WIFI 802.11g Internet access for those wishing to do online research on the University of Baguio's notoriously slow Internet connection.
Planned for the coming years is a dedicated High School Library to be located within the premises of the Science High School. This planned development should encourage more students to use the University's extensive collection of reference materials.
Computer Laboratory
The Science High School will soon have its own internet-enabled Computer Laboratory in line with the school's planned expansion.
For the time being, the Science High School shares use of the Computer Laboratories spread across three buildings in the University Campus.
